1569 Chain Lakes Directions: Drive East on Highway 2 over Stevens Pass (or west from Wenatchee) to Leavenworth. From the far west side of town turn south on Icicle Creek Road (USFS road 7600) and follow it to the end of the road to the Icicle Creek Trial head. Hike about 9.1 miles on the Icicle Creek Trail to the trail head. Alternatively, you can start from Stevens Pass and take Pacific Crest Trail to join with the north end of the Icicle Creek trail at Josephine Lake to approach the trail head from the north for a total distance to the trail head of about 6.5 miles.
